AUTOMAZIONE SUD was founded in the 1980s, based on decades of previous professional and practical experience with world-leading companies in the fields of instrumentation and automatic control. From the outset, we have dedicated ourselves to the control and management of technological systems
We have evolved in parallel with IT innovation, adapting to changes in the sector and consolidating a strong market presence, always oriented towards new technical and commercial trends.
Our strategic lines of action
Our company provides qualified technical support to instrumentation manufacturers with a commercial setup, installers of technological systems with specific needs, end customers, industries and public administrations needing a single point of contact for complete implementation of automation systems, for both civil and industrial applications.
From the outset, we have purposely avoided a generalist approach, risking scattered and ineffective services.
Instead, we focus our activities on three well-defined lines of action, based on our team’s many years of experience, constantly developing these in keeping with technological advancements:

Regulation and control
Our mission is to develop efficient control logic. Starting from the principle that unregulated energy inevitably generates waste, we intervene as necessary on all physical quantities that can be converted into electrical signals.
We use Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and Direct Digital Control (DDC) systems, relying on our in-house expertise in both programming and commissioning.
We offer support starting from the design stage, providing functional diagrams, metric calculations, and technical and economic feasibility studies.
Our support can extend to the supply of turnkey systems, taking care of both the installation of the products and the implementation of the electrical controls for technological systems.
Integrated systems
The current evolution of management systems provides for complete integration between technological systems: fire detection, intrusion detection, CCTV, and advanced home automation.
Our conception of ‘advanced home automation’ extends far beyond single residential functions (limited to lights or shutters) to the use of KNX protocols over multiple functions – for which we are a certified company – and DALI 2, for advanced lighting control. In these areas, we have solid experience with complex systems.
We use the SCADA MOVICON platform, as well as the TRIDIUM-NIAGARA platform, including for integration with KNX devices, IP cameras, and building automation systems.
All phases of design, programming and commissioning are managed internally by our specialised staff.
Sistemi integrati
L’evoluzione dei sistemi di supervisione porta oggi all’integrazione completa tra impianti tecnologici: rilevazione incendi, antintrusione, TVCC e domotica avanzata.
Per “domotica avanzata” non intendiamo semplici funzioni residenziali (come luci o tapparelle), ma l’impiego esteso dei protocolli KNX – di cui siamo azienda certificata – e DALI 2, per il controllo avanzato dell’illuminazione. In questo ambito vantiamo una solida esperienza su sistemi complessi.
Utilizziamo la piattaforma SCADA MOVICON, come pure la piattaforma TRIDIUM-NIAGARA, anche per l’integrazione con dispositivi KNX, telecamere IP e sistemi di building automation.
Tutte le fasi di progettazione, programmazione e messa in servizio sono gestite internamente dal nostro personale specializzato.
